How do I receive CEUs from Skills4Care?

Continuing Education Credits are awarded each time you successfully complete a course. You have the opportunity to print a continuing education certificate after receiving an 80% or above score on the post-test. Simply retain the Skills4Care certificate of completion for your records. <top>

Who certifies courses for Nursing Home Administrator credits?

Skills4Care’s educational offerings for Nursing Home Administrators are approved by the National Continuing Education Review Service of the National Association of Boards of Examiners for Nursing Home Administrators (NAB/NCERS). <top>

Who notifies my State Licensing Board of the courses I’ve completed?

Skills4Care submits reports of professionals who have completed online training courses to those State Licensing Boards that require them. However, long term care professionals are responsible for retaining and submitting their continuing education records for license renewal as required by their respective Boards (CEU requirements and allowable online credits vary by state). Search NAB's List of State Boards <top>

Can Skills4Care help me track CEUs from workshops and conferences I’ve attended?

By becoming a subscriber to Skills4Care, you receive an expanded tool for tracking all your continuing education experiences on your transcript. “Offline Entry” is an exclusive benefit that allows you to add the details of credits you’ve received at conferences and workshops you’ve attended. You are, of course, responsible for retaining all certificates and proof of attendance provided to you by the sponsors of those CEU activities. <top>

How much do Skills4Care courses cost?

The current price for a course carrying 2 NAB clock hours is $79.95. Courses carrying 3 NAB clock hours cost $99.95 each. You are welcome to purchase courses individually from our growing catalog. By purchasing a $399.95 Subscription to Skills4Care, you can take as many classes as you want during a 12-month subscription term – with a single purchase. I recently bought a Skills4Care course. Will you credit my payment toward the cost of a Subscription?

We encourage you to become a subscriber to Skills4Care. Within 30 days of your first Skills4Care course purchase, new customers are invited to upgrade to a 12-month subscription and we will credit the amount you paid for your initial course(s) toward the cost of your subscription. <top>

What are the advantages of becoming a Skills4Care subscriber?

Subscribers have unlimited access to course content for a full 12 months. Revisit courses you’ve already taken (CEUs are awarded once per course per subscription term), and take as many courses as you want during your subscription, all for one low price. <top>

Are there other benefits available to Skills4Care subscribers?

Another benefit to subscribers is the ability to track all of the continuing education credits you’ve earned toward license renewal including Skills4Care courses and credits you’ve earned attending conferences, workshops and other continuing education events.

For our subscribers, Skills4Care has developed an F-Tag Series that highlights primary Culture Change Principles and Values and links them to federal regulations.

Another “subscribers-only” benefit designed to benefit Administrators without a medical background is an extensive glossary of terms and abbreviations.<top>

If I get interrupted while taking a course, can I stop and complete it at a later time?

All Skills4Care courses have a built-in feature that allows you to bookmark where you left off if you must step away from your computer while taking a course. Once you successfully complete the course post-test and a brief course evaluation form you will be able to print out your CEU certificate for the course. <top>
